A very warm welcome to Pegswood Primary School.

It is a real pleasure to welcome you to our school. As Headteacher, I am proud to be part of the Pegswood community and to work alongside our children, families and staff.

I believe that school should be a place where children feel happy, safe and valued; where they are excited to learn, encouraged to try new things and supported to discover what they can achieve. Every child is unique, and we want every child at Pegswood to feel that they belong, that their voice matters and that they can be successful.

Our aim is for children to leave us with a strong foundation for their future, alongside the qualities that will help them to thrive as individuals. We want them to be kind, confident, curious and resilient, to take pride in themselves and their achievements, and to develop a genuine love of learning.

Strong relationships are at the heart of a successful school. When children, families and staff work together, we create the very best environment for children to flourish. We value the connections we have with our families and wider community, and I am committed to ensuring that Pegswood is a school where everyone feels welcome, valued and included.

There is so much to celebrate about primary education, and I feel very fortunate to lead a school where we see and celebrate those moments every day - from the small steps of progress to the achievements that children will remember for years to come.
